All SCIMedical desktop devices are truly symbiotic. Symbiotic clients terminal have no persistent storage whatsoever, a crucial facet to a truly secure computing environment. As such, should a SCIMedical desktop appliance be removed from its host network, the device can perform no useful function and can contain no data. Theft of improper disposal of a SCIMedical terminal cannot, therefore, constitute a risk to data security.
