How do they work ?

Network Terminals have the same performance and behavior as traditional desktop PCs. However, the technology behind them is radically different and they offer some distinct advantages. Terminals rely on network connectivity to an office server and a nonproprietary technology from Microsoft called 'Terminal Services'. Using this technology, the user interface and input to/output from an application is passed over the network, the actual application processing is done on the server.
